Chanson rare qui décrit, du point de vue des soldats qui se battirent ensemble, la défaite de la première ville de l’Amérique française, premier domino de la chute de la Nouvelle-France. Cette chanson acadienne nous a été offerte, il y a longtemps, par Robert Deveaux, gardien de chanson de Chéticamp, au Cap-Breton. C’est Olivier qui a minutieusement travaillé cet arrangement de voix.

A rare song depicting the loss of the first city in French America from the point of view of the soldiers who fought together. That defeat was the first domino of the fall of Nouvelle-France. This Acadian song was offered to us a long time ago by Robert Deveaux, a song keeper from Chéticamp, Cape Breton Island. Olivier worked carefully on this vocal arrangement.
